DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 30 August 2026\, local bowler Derek Ainsworth will take on an incredible challenge: a 12-hour Sponsored Crown Green Bowling Marathon at Hesketh Arms Bowling Club.\n\nFrom 8am to 8pm\, Derek will be bowling against a series of Premier League bowlers\, all to help raise funds for Cornerstone Library and support the valuable services it provides to our community.\nThere’ll be refreshments\, a raffle\, bowling matches and plenty of community spirit throughout the day.\n\nPlease save the date\, spread the word\, and come along to cheer Derek on!
