Could you spare a few hours to support your local community?
Cornerstone Library is run by local volunteers, and we are always pleased to hear from people who might like to get involved. There are many different ways to help, and you do not need previous library experience.
You might enjoy:
- helping visitors in the library
- issuing and returning books
- keeping shelves organised
- supporting events and fundraising
- helping with our community outreach work
- sharing practical skills, experience or local contacts
- helping behind the scenes with administration, communications or other activities
Some people volunteer regularly, while others help when they can. Whether you have a few hours to spare, useful experience to share, or simply want to be part of something local, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
You do not need to know exactly where you might fit. Come and have a chat with us.
Cornerstone is entirely volunteer-led, and the time, skills and enthusiasm of local people are what make the library possible.
