Trustees
The Library is led and managed by a team of Trustees. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the Trustees via secretary@cornerstonelibrary.org
The Trustees’ role is to ensure that:
- The library is financially sustainable.
- We deliver high-quality services for the local community.
- Our volunteers and library members are kept safe and well.
Gillian – Chairperson

Gillian is an experienced HR professional and Contract Management specialist with a deep commitment to developing the Cornerstone Library to meet the needs of the local community. As Chair of the Board of Trustees Gillian is keen to apply her dual-focused skill set to bridge the gap between strategic governance and operational reality, ensuring the library remains compliant and sustainable with the volunteers and the local community at its heart.
Kim
Kim has many years experience in Childcare and Education so understands the importance of sharing books with young children which encourages confidence with words, communication and language skills and imagination. This prompted her passion for helping to create our wonderful library.

Maureen

Maureen spent her working life as a Marine Claims Adjuster in UK, Singapore and Indonesia and travelled widely throughout Asia during that time. The job involved lots of reading so she did not read for pleasure but since retirement she has developed a love of all things reading and is really enjoying the challenge of involvement in the library’s future.
